On Thursday, the kick-off event for the funding initiative took place in Bitterfeld “Innovation Region for the Digital Transformation of Care and Health” (TPG) of the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF). In the coming years, the BMBF will invest up to 140 million euros in the research and development of digital technologies aimed at improving healthcare in southern Saxony-Anhalt.
The funding for the “TPG” initiative comes from the Federal Investment Act for Coal Regions (InvKG). With the establishment of the innovation region “TPG” in the structural change area of the Central German mining district in Saxony-Anhalt a new center for digital solutions in care and healthcare is being created.
The goal is to create an innovation-driven, people-oriented network that optimizes regional healthcare and paves the way for a sustainable, forward-looking economy in the field of digital health.
Our project AvatarMediKi is one of the initial projects of TPG. Together with the University Hospital Halle (Saale) we aim to improve adherence using AI.
