In exceptional cases, it may be necessary to reset an ANABOX® smart to the delivery status with a factory reset without having to go via the app. In this case, all alarm times and settings are deleted from the device and it is then switched off until it is activated again.

  • You have bought a used ANABOX® smart which has not yet been reset and you receive the error message 'Device is ready to be registered, please reset' when setting it up.
  • You no longer have access to your ANABOX® smart via the software and want to set it up again.

The ANABOX® smart must be loaded. It is best to connect the device to the power supply during the entire time.

  • press and hold the große Taste. At the same time, briefly (1 second) press the Reset-Loch with a pointed object. 2. Continue to hold down the große Taste until a short signal tone sounds and all LEDs light up for about 2 seconds. Now release the große Taste.
  • Now wait. The LEDs flash 1x per second

The unit is successfully deleted when a signal sounds and all LEDs stop flashing. After the deletion process, the device is switched off until it is activated again.

Restarts the unit and restores all states. During the restart, the Status LED first flashes blue (network search) and then white for some time (data exchange). When the restart is completed, the status LED goes out. The unit can now be used normally again.

  • The unit no longer responds or has an unexpected reaction.
  • A soft reset provides a quick remedy and solves the problem

It is best to connect the device to the mains adapter first to charge it. Press the Reset-Loch briefly (1 second) with a pointed object. The unit will then restart for about 1 minute. During this process, the .

The device can be easily removed in the app and is also reset to factory settings. After the device has been deactivated in the app, it signals this by beeping and then switches off until it is Activated again.

  • You no longer want to use an ANABOX® smart, transfer it to another user or sell it on.

If the unit no longer functions due to an incorrect update or faulty transmission or in other exceptional cases, the firmware can be reset. This procedure takes about 10 minutes. The firmware is reinstalled on the unit and the unit is reset.

  • The ANABOX® smart no longer responds and a restart does not help either.

The ANABOX® smart must be charged. Connect the unit to the power supply during the entire time.

Press and hold the große Taste. At the same time, briefly (1 second) press the Reset-Loch with a pointed object. 2. Continue to hold down the große Taste until a short beep sounds and all LEDs light up for about 2 seconds. 3. Do not release the große Taste and continue to press it. After about 5 seconds, the unit will beep 5 times. Now release the große Taste.

The unit will now reset itself. The progress is indicated by the LEDs (they now light up one after the other). As soon as the process is complete, the unit restarts (all LEDs go out).
