Setting up an ANABOX smart in the app

A new ANABOX smart can easilybe added in the app.

The process is described step by step when adding a new device in the app. The device must be charged or connected to power.

If you are using the app for the first time, you can follow the instructions at the start and will be prompted to add a device there.

If you have already set up the app, you can add a new device under the menu item Devices

  • Devices ÔÇ║ Add new device or New +
  • Scan QR code and select the QR code on the back of the medication dispenser; alternatively, you can also manually enter the number (e.g. nrf-123456789012345)
  • press the large button for 2 seconds until the device beeps and a rotating loading animation is displayed on the cups
  • confirm in the app that you have pressed the large button┬ágedr├╝ckt haben
  • wait up to 60 seconds until the device is set up

That's it!

Your ANABOX smart is now ready for use. Set up some intake times in the calendar in the next step.

If the medication dispenser cannot complete the activation within 5 minutes, it will automatically shut down.

Please reset the devicethe device.

Another error has occurred. This could have the following causes:

  • Not charged: Pleasecharge the device.
  • No network found: If the device has no connection to the NB-IoT or LTE-M network, please try a different location for the device.

The optical sensors are individually calibrated for each device at the factory (this is necessary because the transparent surfaces never behave exactly the same). However, it may be necessary to manually renew these values. You will be prompted to do this in the app.

  • The cups briefly light up as a "wave".
  • Wait for about 15 seconds and do not cover the sensors.

After this process, the prompt in the app should disappear after a few seconds.
