A new ANABOX smart can easily be added in the app.
The procedure is described step by step when adding a new device in the app. The device must be charged or connected to the power.
If you are using the app for the first time, you can follow the instructions at the start and will then be prompted to add a device.
If you have already set up the app, you can add a device as follows.

and scan the QR code on the back of the medicine dispenser; alternatively, you can type in the number (e.g. nrf-123456789012345
) manuallyThat's it! Your ANABOX smart is now ready for use. In the next step, create [some intake times in the calendar](./medication schedule).
If the medication dispenser cannot complete the activation within 5 minutes, it will switch off automatically.
Please reset the device.
Another error has occurred. This may be due to the following causes:
Not loaded: Please load the unit.
No network found: If the device does not connect to the NB-IoT or LTE-M network. Please try another location for the device.
The optical sensors are calibrated individually for each unit at the factory (this is necessary because transparent surfaces never behave exactly the same). However, it may be necessary to renew these values manually. You will be prompted to do this in the app.
Put the medicine compartment back into the unit.
After this process, the prompt in the app should disappear.
